Camping Murg is taking a winter break until the end of March 2025. During this time, e-mails will only be answered sporadically and unfortunately we will not be able to take telephone inquiries during this period.

Murg Campsite

Idyllically located on the peninsula by Lake Walen

The 3* Murg Campsite is located directly on the shore of the crystal-clear Walensee. It is surrounded by gardens and offers great views of the imposing Churfirsten mountains. The campsite has numerous pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. There are 20 large pitches of 40 – 60m2 directly on the lake. The Walensee play area (Murg playground) can be reached in 3-5 minutes on foot. The Chestnut playground with the beautiful Chestnut path is nearby. Excursions to the Murg Valley with the impressive Murg Lakes, the boat dock and other attractions in the region are very easy to reach.

Be surprised by the variety of offers between Flumserberg and Walensee.

The 3* Murg Campsite (VSC/ASC) is located directly on the shores of the breathtaking and crystal-clear Walensee. It is surrounded by gardens and offers a great view of the imposing Churfirsten mountains. The campsite has numerous pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. There are 20 large pitches of 40 – 60m2 directly on the lake.

The seasonal campsites are managed by Quarten Tourism. Currently all places are occupied.
We had to deactivate the contact form for the permanent campsites due to the long waiting list.
As soon as places become available again in the next few years, we will reactivate the waiting list.

Cancellation policy: Free of charge up to 31 days before arrival, 50% up to 8 days before arrival, 100% thereafter.

Fantastic – directly on the lake promenade, in the attractive Murg Campsite.

The hosts look forward to your visit. Our kiosk offers a selection of delicious grilled food and simple, carefully prepared dishes.

Visit us and enjoy the fine homemade delicacies in the open air on the beautiful Walensee or to take away.

Murg Campsite is a meeting place and starting point for excursions, but also a place to linger.
